Current Geopolitical Scenario and Position of INDIA on the global map
Ever since from the time of Acharya Chanakya ,one of the greatest diplomats of the world, the one who had defeated the weapons by his wit, whose policies were always fool proof, India has always been an strategic expert, rather the people of India has always been very diplomatic or had diplomatic brains.
Currently INDIA holds a very important position on the world map , be it in terms of Economic values, Business turnovers, Strategic plannings , Innovation and creation of new ideas, counter terrorism ops, or safety and security of the nation.
The geopolitical position of India remains strategically located at the juncture of South Asia, Central Asia, and the Middle East. Its geographical location continues to give it importance in terms of trade, security, and diplomatic relations.
India has recently succeeded Great Britain , the ignorant arrogant egoistic nation, to become the 5th largest economic power of the world with a avg GDP of 3.75 trillion(USD).And be it in terms of purchasing power INDIA ranks 3rd. So i guess its time now the WEST and the rest now should start regarding INDIA as a lot more powerful and strong nation ,"A great rising power" as said by British Journalist, Martin Wolf.
India has a vast Entrepreneurial network, skilled workforce and expertise in the Information Technology sector which has kept INDIA continuously and steadily growing economy and contribute its economic influence.
INDIA from the very beginning has tried to maintain a very healthy relationship with its immediate neighbours. Be it helping ,Bangladesh, during the 1971 crisis ,or be it helping Sri Lanka in 2022-23 when the nation went bankrupt .Efforts has always been done to improve infrastructure ,economic situation and people to people ties in the region.
And if we talk about the so called "big powers" of the world , India has always followed a policy based on mutualism. The relationship with USA , who has always been a strategic partner , has been a key pillar of its foreign policy. Bilateral relations encompass a wide range of areas, including defence cooperation, trade, technology, and counterterrorism efforts.
India's historically strong relationship with Russia continues to evolve, with collaboration in defence, energy, space, and other sectors. Both countries often engage in high-level summits to discuss strategic issues. And in the time of Ukraine Russia crisis India has followed a strict path of nation first, which would ultimately benefit the people of the nation.
